American Culture Class: Superheros.

In American class we discussed the American culture idea of

superheros. There are many famous superheros in American

culture such as batman, superman and spiderman. We read on

expert from the book Superheros and Philosophy by Jeph Loeb and

Tom Moris. Superheros represent our worst nightmares.

Superheros face question we all have to face in present condition.

Superheros are extraordinarily powerful people who have both

strengths and weakness. They typically have superheros - the

ability to fly or to leap over tall building - or at least normal human

abilities that have developed to a superhuman level. Plato, the

Greek philosopher believe that good is inherently attractive. What

is good will pull us in its direction as long as we are not blocked

from seeing it and appreciating it. They speak to our hopes. We all

aspire to make a world, and to be acknowledged for that impact.

When we confront adversity in our lives, we are often inclined to

just give up and find an easier path. Batman can inspire us to use

our lives for something good and noble. Batman can keep us going

even when the going is very tough.
